From 1–4 July 2026, Gdynia, Poland, became one of the centres of Europe’s summer music scene as Open’er Festival returned to the Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport. The event is regarded as one of Poland’s biggest festivals and one of the major music events on the European calendar.
Four Days of International Music
Open’er 2026 brought together pop, rock, alternative, hip-hop and electronic music across several stages, creating four days of performances for audiences travelling from Poland and across Europe.
The festival’s headline lineup included The Cure, Calvin Harris, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Florence + The Machine, The xx and Jennie.
A Huge 2026 Lineup
Beyond the headliners, Open’er welcomed an impressive selection of international artists, including Zara Larsson, Martin Garrix, Halsey, Teddy Swims, Addison Rae, David Byrne, PinkPantheress, Ethel Cain, IDLES, Clipse and Peggy Gou.
The variety of artists made Open’er one of the summer’s most diverse festival programmes, moving from huge electronic performances to alternative rock, pop and hip-hop.
Music Under the Summer Sky
One of the defining features of Open’er is its location. The enormous Gdynia-Kosakowo airfield is transformed into a festival site filled with stages, lights, food areas and thousands of music fans.
As evening arrives, huge crowds gather in front of the main stage for some of the festival’s biggest performances.
From Scandinavia to Central Europe
Located on Poland’s Baltic coast, Gdynia also makes Open’er particularly interesting for music fans travelling from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany and other parts of Northern Europe.
The festival combines a summer trip to the Polish coast with the opportunity to see some of the world’s biggest artists in one place.
Four Days. One City. Thousands of Music Fans.
Open’er 2026 once again demonstrated why the European festival season attracts audiences from around the world. From Florence + The Machine and The Cure to Calvin Harris, Jennie and Martin Garrix, Gdynia hosted four days spanning generations and genres.
